Get With The Times Blogster!

January 29, 2008 / by meminniemouse

I cannot understand why I read so many articles where people in here turn their noses up at the private option? Blogster in fact has now caught up with every other website that has a blogging facility! Everysite I have visited inc 'Myspace, Facebook, Bebo, blogger, blog and Inkedin 'ALL'  have the privacy option. Whats with the complaining??? People are getting what they desired which makes their blogging experience that more enjoyable. The residents of this site are lucky they don't have age restrictions and a 7 day settling in period ;)

The only issue I can see right now is that blogster is a very small community comapred to alot of the other more popular sites. In here you are more or less going to get your posts read and even replied to - someday! My point is, if people are going to live in each others pockets you have to accept that on ocassions they will be the private post. OK so what - if they block their whole post? Thats our tough luck, that doesn't make you any less of the person you are, and doesn't make them any more powerful.

Minnie out.

I just was surprised that a few I had subscriptions to had gone private, I miss reading them & commenting to them.  Of course, now I can be their friend to read them if they choose.

I do not think it is about power at all, one of the things that  once made this site differnt was the very fact that there was no private blogging.  I personally do not care if their blog is private or not though I do miss some of them.  Though I do feel if a blog is private it should not be on the public lists of "recent blogs" or "most popular"  because you cannot read them and that is displayed publically, I do not knwo if i explaiend that right but I hope so.

That really is my only bitch with the private blogs becaus emost of the ones that are private I did not read often anyway :)
